I have a HUGE sweet tooth, and I don't know how to get rid of it. I wouldn't care so much if sugar intake didn't give me anxiety, but it does..and sometimes I'm kinda lazy to excersise, and don't really know where to start with excersise and now much I should be doing it and whatnot. Anyone have good tips on how to eat healthier and not crave junk food & candy so much? and how can I get determination for excersise?

Hi,

I know what you mean about having a humongous sweet tooth. My sweet tooth is so big, it's a wonder there's room in my mouth for any other teeth!

About two months ago I began working with "The Raw Food Detox Diet", by Natalia Rose. It does seem to help curb my sweet tooth, maybe because certain sweets are allowed, e.g. chocolate that's at least 70% cacao. I've very gradually lost a bit of weight, but weight really isn't the issue for me. It's multiple chemical sensitivities.

Re: exercise, what kind of physical activities do you enjoy? They say it's much better to pick something you enjoy, because it's liklier you'll stick with it. If you live where you can get out for a good walk, I'd suggest starting with that. Why spend money on a gym if you don't have to?

My own choice of exercise is cycling. Last November I bought an adult tricycle (I have some balance issues due to neurological problems, thus I don't trust myself on a two-wheeler). I enjoy going for a 10-mile morning ride before work. It's great for the legs and the abs!

Good luck!
