Skipping/racing heart

Hi,
Does anyone else get skipped beats followed by a faster heartbeat for a few seconds? It doesn't tend to last too long but it concerns me.

I used to have a skip in my heartbeat, It would last for several seconds and then dissipate. For me I was put on a high blood pressure med and it stopped. I had a couple tests and they came back negative. The doctor said some people have it and it will not harm you. I'm not saying it's the same reasons your experiencing the skipped beat. If you feel concerned have it cheked out.

Every once in a great while (I mean once a year) since i was a kid, I would often have a skipped beat that I noticed. It never lasted long and had no adverse effects that i know of. If it does bother you, have a doc check it out.
