Hi everyone, I just joined the forum today, I am a long time anxiety sufferer, because I am having a some what good day, I have to tell you that this is a symptom, there is nothing wrong with you.
I used to have real bad chest pain, I went to Dr's and they said it was chest wall pain? Like the wall around my heart was sore? So I went on a beta blocker ( propanolol ) and it did take away my symptoms of chest pain. At the time I thought I had some major heart disease, it was only once I was symptom free that I was able to see it was just a symptom I aggravated with my mind.
I do not take propanolol anymore and I am still NOT experiencing the chest pain, because I know what it is now.
You may need medication to help yourself get away from the synptoms. I recently had a terrible terrible blow up in which the room spun out of control, I thought I was having a seizure or a stroke... it is sooo scarey... we should not have to live life like this.
I had to go back on my medication, I take celexa which I thought was making it worse. .it took everything I had to get back on it,. I am still on 1/2 a pill cause I am afraid a whole one will make me dizzy and scare me half to death again.
