A year back, I started this program and never finished. Now my depression is worse than it ever has been and now I have some anger issues, not to the point where I lash out at people, its inner anger and I need to go through this program again and finish it. I just hope I can

Hi TRoy:
I feel sure that you can start and finish the program. There is no better time than now.
I wish you great luck with it and urge you to continue to post here. And to come back and read a lot of posts.
It is okay to start over.
God bless and keep you on the course.

You have to want to do it. Keep pushing and you cannot go wrong.

Hi Troy,

This is my second attempt at this program. My husband just got out of the hospital with congestive heart failure. What I have seen him go through has left me feeling helpless and lost. I know I need God to give me strength and to guide me and He has sent Lucinda to help us. So I am going to try again. Please don't give up. Keep trying you are worth it and God loves you and is hurt everytime you are hurt.

Hi Guys!!
Please read my post that I just made ("I met Lucinda Bassett")

I just got back from filming a commercial for them. PLease give this program the time it needs to work for you.
I did the program three FULL times!!

There is NO time limit for how much you do it, or when you "get" it. Everyone is different. IT is a LOT of work but you can do it!Go back and do it all again without feeling bad about it. You will get so much more out of it this time. I know I did.

Keep a positive outlook, know and trust yourself, and take it ONE day at a TIME! Do not think too far ahead...

Trust me.... I was there...

Ld26angell,

That's so awesome that you got to meet Lucinda! This is my second time, too, and I'm really running through a whole gamut of emotions right now-fear, anger, anxiety, pride, impatience, etc. I want to do this, and I'm determined to do it this time.

Its been a month since I posted my first message. I really don't think anything can help right now. I appreciate the posts of encouragement, I have no belief in myself right now, so I know the program won't work until I get that belief, and I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

Thanks everyone and good luck with your own journeys

TroyB,

I hope you do not giv eup that easily!
It is hard work and persistance really does pay off.
However, sometimes it can be so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is what I hear in your posts. Desperation and a want to badly to get over this.. You CAN!
Make an appointment with a doctor or therapist and see if they can help you in any way. If medication will help for a brief period, then so be it. It's better than feeling miserable.
If you do not want to take medication then really try to see if there is someone out there that you feel comfortable discussing your feelings and issues with. IT doesn't have to a be a therapist, psychologist, it can simply be a friend or family member, or even call the help line at StressCenter. SOmetimes a little encouragement was all I needed when I felt discouraged.
If you haven't done the program, then finish it!
What are you waiting for? Now is a better time than any. You need to constantly work at being positive and restating those negative thoughts to positive thoughts. Your really good at giving encouragement to others. I can tell. Look at your last sentence that you worte. YOu never said anything good about yourself, but you did close with a positive statement to others.
This goes to show you that you CAN help yourself. Maybe you are just seeing that it is going to take some work and that can be uncomfotable to us. Sometimes, being miserable, may be EASIER and more COMFORTABLE than changing because you do not have to work so hard.
I feel this is where you may be just from reading your posts.
Please give the program a try. If your feeling absolutely terrible, then see someone immediately and get the help you so deserve!
Good luck to you and I can see that you have the potential to change your life forever!
You have the power to do so, and you do not see that now but that's ok, all in due time.

Hi Troy,
I'm also starting the program again. The first I started was over 10 years ago! At that time I listen to lesson 1 & the relaxation cd then returned everything. I just did not have the time or patience to even try... I was stressed out at work putting in 10-12 hour days... constantly complaining about everything and everyone, causing myself stress and anxiety... of course things weren't "MY FAULT" (lol)... well guess what? Things haven't changed, I'm still complaining and stressed out! So here I am again. I know this time is different I WILL complete this program and I know that if you push yourself "just a little" you will finish the program too! What do you have to lose? You "CAN" do it!
Good luck!
