For the last couple of months I have been having these little aches in my chest. Sometimes it feels like a burning sensation, other times it's like a sharp piercing pain. The pain moves from my left side to right or in the middle of my chest. can anyone relate to this.

I had that last month! I would get strange pains in the center of my chest, and also sharp pains on the lower left side of my chest. I stopped getting that now but I still get heart flutters/palpitations. I now get other strange symptoms. Your not alone! I had 3 EKG's, a 3D echo, and a stress test, all of which were fine! I hope you get relief from knowing alot of others have the same symptoms! I easy to say don't worry but try to think of other things, it is very hard for me to do also! Lori

Absolutely!
I get all kinds of pains in my chest. Just last night I was lying in bed on my stomach and felt pain in the center of my chest, so I flipped over and tried to ignore it. Muscle tension can cause those quick sharp pains...burning too actually. I get scared each time too...so you're not alone. Good luck.

This is the message I've been wanting to see. I had these last night and they were very painful!! They really scared me. I never has the chest pain symptom until recently! Usually just the loss of control, crying, feeling of fainting! It's reassuring to see that others have similar symptoms than me! Hope you are able to get through the program...this is a new beginning for me I hope! I am tired of living fearful all of the time!

Yes, it is a relief to see this and know that I'm not crazy :) And all will be okay :) Hope this thread bumps up to help others that feel this way and have had fainting spells, because I feel this program does not address this particular issue in the right light. . . Guess you just have to go through it.

Have had feelings of a racing heart, chest pains, and chest tightness for 25 years. I've always kept it to myself, I didn't want to become a finacial burden to my family with hospital bills and figured if I died they could collect life insurance and this would be best for them. I was a RN for 12 of these years and never took advatage of any testing. Occasionally when I would be having symptoms I would go for a run ,or split firewood thinking I could finally get this over with. To my surprise most times it would aleveate my symptoms and I would feel great, It wasn't until I started this program that I understood what was really happening.

Please realize that some people maybe having geuine cardiac complications, and need to see a real MD, but generally if you are having cardiac distress you will also have weakness, shortness of breath, and be very sweaty. other symptoms include jaw pain and left arm pain if any or all of these s/s occur with your chest pain please seek help

I do. I get this pain in my chest, my heart flutters, and it feels like my lungs are constricting. I worried I was having heart attacks. The doc says I'm fine, it's just anxiety.

I often have heart palpultations and sometimes they make me lose my breath. Once I tell myself that it's just my anxiety, that I am safe and there is nothing to fear, they slowly decrease. However, I also have a heart murmur so that is another reason for my heart to flutter.

Just remember to take deep breaths. We are not going to die. We are not having a heart attack, we are not going crazy. I am almost at the point where I can say "It's just my anxiety," but I am not quite there yet. Anyone else feel that way?

I get these pains too. I wake up with my heart pounding so hard daily. It seems my medicine isn't helping and I feel like these cds are msking me worse. I feel this anxiety daily and then the depression starts. I know lucinda said that might happen. The relaxationd cd helps me and I sure did not think it would.
I too am a nurse andhave been one for many years. Presently I work at an elementary school and the kids help me. I notice I have hardly any energy and stay sleepy even if I go to bed early. I have a doctor and he is super nice but medeications doesn't always do the trick. If you have been a negative thinker all your life, it is difficult to change. I wish someone could help me with the anxiety/depression and hopefully this program will. I haven't had a chance to use it like I should. It seems like my days go by fast and I don't get much accomplished. The chest pain is related to the anxiety (I think) because it worsens when I feel that way. I would love to feel like what I think others do. I am good at hiding it sometimes. God bless You. June
