Hi I am new this is the first time I have ever chatted. I was diagnosed with temperal lobe epilepsy when I was 17. I am a stay at home mom. I don't have a life outside my home, which probably doesn't help with my anxiety and depression. I leave the store shaking because my anxiety is so bad. I believe that I have had anxiety and depression for years. I obsess over small stuff until I am so upset that I can't think straight. I started my program a couple of weeks ago. My sister and dad are fighting which I have been dwelling about and quit doing my program. I finished the first week and I didn't do it for a week I should be on my third week. Should I start over or start on my second week?

Hi Dimples!! Welcome to our little Group!
To simply answer your question - no. Never Quit and keep moving forward. Session 3 is Great!
Dimples, I know what you are talking about. When I have had hesitations with my program progress, I remind myself that "Life Happens". I do my Best to be focused and dedicated to My progress. Take time for Yourself, everyday! Again, Welcome, Seadog

Hi Dimples and welcome to the program and support community! Stick with the program and you will start to see some positive changes in your life! It doesn't happen overnight but change will come. I agree with seadog, we have to take time for ourselves. Your dad and sister are having an argument, not you, so let them work out their issues. Now is the time for you and it is perfectly fine to be selfish about yourself. We all want a life free of anxiety and worry, but it takes work and that is up to us. We are here for you. Take care.

Hi everyone,

I am new as well. This is my first week doing the program and I'm a little overwhelmed by all the information. I am having trouble finding the time to listen to the relaxation tape twice a day, even though I love listening to it. I also haven't found the time to journal. Any suggestions?
