How do you guys keep your energy levels up at this time of year? Maybe it is just those of us that live in the colder climates, but I have to confess to some bad habits lately. Not exercising enough, eating poorly, and just a general feeling of decreased energy and motivation. Although, perhaps it is just my body fighting off the various colds and viruses that seem to be afflicting everyone lately!! Anyway, any get motivated tips would be appreciated...Although I am very thankfully planning a get away to Florida next weekend. I believe that sun is good for the soul!!

Have you tried the light therapy for the winter months? It's a special type of full spectrum light that is used for people who get down in the winter. I live in California and I know people here who use it when it is dark and gloomy to up their mood and energy. I agree the sun is good for the soul. I notice my moods and energy levels are better when the sun is shining.

Hi, you are not alone with this. I used to get very down in the winter. Alot of it is blamed on being stuck inside when its so cold but the truth is there is a Vitamin in the sun that makes you happier. We dont get that in the winter. You can take a vitamin for this but I have found that going to the tanning bed works even better. Plus it makes you feel pretty lol
Best Wishes
