My Wife bought me the program about 5 yrs ago, after we took a trip to Disneyland, which was the first time i made my self sick with worry, at the time we really didnt know what was going on and it wasnt until sometime later and after visiting a shrink that we discovered i have anxiety issues. while i was there the doctor gave me Lucinda's book Panic to Power and before I completed reading it my wife found the Program. so i completed the first 4 sessions of the program 3 yrs ago and found i was able to function on a daily basis ok, i was able to do all the things i wanted to with pretty good success. i havent always been successful and i have skipped or faked illness to avoid uncomfortable situations, but i was functioning ok.
Skip ahead to today about a month ago my wife was told by her company that they wanted to send her to the Phillpines for a month for work, with the economy the way it is we didnt feel it was going to be acceptable for her to turn it down, which she has in the past. i was upset that she was going but i understand it, we took her to the airport on Friday and from about 15 mins before we left i have had and continue to have the worst episode of anxiety attacks that i have ever had, after being unable to control my emotions the first 24 hrs I dusted off the Program and began to listen to the relaxation tapes again and have started from the very beginning. i have plans to complete the full program this time. Sorry for rambling but i find along with the journal writing what i am doing actually gives me piece of mind ... even if its just for a short period of time

Yes congratulations for taking that step. There are alot of people who go through the program the first time around and then stop because they feel ok, that is very normal. And like you, they end up getting into another situation in the future where they turn back to the program.
This could be a blessing really, going through it again may help you go from being content and living an ok life to feeling great and living a life where you can tackle any challenge and go for any dream you desire.

It definately won't feel like it is a big help in the beginning. The process is gradual and you will feel a little better day by day. It's great you are hanging in there, it is definately worth it.
That way you are thinking is what they consider All-or-Nothing thinking and it is not a bad thing, it is just an aspect of having these conditions. As you progress you will get better and better at recognizing this and better and better at confronting that way of thinking.
Keep up the good work!
