I have been having the same issue for awhile. I'm only in week 3, so still learning. One thing I did the other day that helped is decide to just do it anyway. I was anxious the whole time walking up to my boyfriend, but kept telling myself that I'm just excited. In one of the CDs they said that sometimes you're actually just excited. Like going down a ski slope and the heart is racing and hands are sweaty, your mind confuses the feeling good with feeling scared. I think our problem is that since the symptoms can feel the same we automatically assume it's anxiety. I know I tend to confuse them. So I kept telling myself I'm not anxious this time I'm just excited. I still don't run and initiate it, but I thought it's a start. Maybe it will help you too.

Hi Ms.GAbby. I have found that one of the best ways for me to get over a panic attack is to have sex. It completely takes your mind off of the things that are making you anxious. I also heard this from a female poster on another site so it isn't just me. This may not work for everyone but it may be worth a try.

Have you ever found yourself having anxiety before sex for fear of not making her happy?
