I have weaned off Cymbalta and it's been over a month. My doc had me go from 60mg down to 30 for a few weeks and then stopped that. I thougt I did fine but the last few days have had bouts of nausea that will come and go and this morning it is debilitating. I also developed intense headaches about a week ago. Funny thing is it only happened during orgasm. It was the most painful feeling, like something was going to explode out of the back of my skull. my head would throb all day. Can this be from the stoppage of meds over a month ago? Seems like a long time to go by before I wuold feel anything.

My husband experienced the same thing for a month or two after starting Lexapro. It did eventually go away, though. He still takes the Lexapro without this symptom.

I would have to say that maybe its occuring as a return of symptoms of what you started taking it for in the first place. One of my main symptoms of anxiety is constant nausea, loss of appetite, and wt. loss.

When I stopped taking Cymbalta I experienced naseau and dizziness for months. I switched doctors and my new one actually was familiar with this and added a very small dose of effexor for several months. It took a long time but I am off both now.
