I have been on paxil for about 2 months now. 10mg for a week and 20mg for 3 weeks and now I am on 30mg with klonpin 2 times a way with tradozone for sleep aid. I have been on zoloft for three months and I have lost 10 lb and had no appetite and still had anxiety.
With paxil, it seems to be workin but I lost additional 10 lb and I can't lose any more weight. down to 105 lb and food is the last thing I want to put in mouth. does this go away? has anyone experinced the same thing? Plus I am drowsy all the time.

Weight loss with anxiety is very common. I lost 70 lbs a few years ago when I had it bad. We actually burn alot of calories being anxious. Plus if like some, anxiety makes you loose your appetite, then its hard. When you get your anxiety under control your appetite will come back. I've heard that Paxil causes weight gain, not loss.
When I was loosing alot of weight, I finally saw a nutritionist who suggested ways to increase my calories. Look it up online, you will find alot of good tips on how to gain weight.

Actually, I did start gaining weight on Paxil, so I weened myself off. You are fortunate to be so thin. But don't get to the point that you are unhealthy. That will cause a lot of health probems later.
Have any of you heard about Adrenal Fatigue? It has to do with hormone imbalance. I am having mine checked next week. You can have all kinds of problems including weight gain if your hormones are out of balance. Go to www.womentowomen.com

Wow loseing weight on those meds you are one of the lucky ones. I took paxil in 3 months i gained 60 pounds. Switched over a few years later started loesing a little i was on lexapro. it stoped working right away so was put on paxil which made me very hungry and gained 40 after i had lost it so now I am obese. I wish these meds would have made me thin but it went the other way , But good luck anyway
