I've been on and off meds for the past 5 years. I took effexor 75 mg worked great for anxiety and depression but felt spacey alot of times so it wasn't worth it,, Coming off was a nightmare but overcame it. Within this last year i was on lexapro 10 then to 20mg. The drug gets you real confussed and anxious @ first then levels off, it's worth the wait almost a month to stabilize. Coming off lexapro was like night and day to effexor. I've been feeling really good for the past few weeks then in the last two days my tension headaches came back and i feel more stressed then usual( reminded me why I was on the drugs). I plan to ride it out and cope with who i am and deal with instead of relying on drugs to mask my problems. Wish me luck and good luck to all. Good luck Hunter75. I have been on medication for five years and take 6mg of Ativan a day. I bought the "Attacking anxiety & depression" program five years ago but only went through 4 lessons and I have decided to try it again as it really helped me then and I was getting better. I want off all medication now so hats off to you and keep at it.
