Anxiety from Buspar (buspirone)?

Hi All -

My psychiatrist upped my dosage of Buspar a few days ago and I've been having a lot of anxiety/agitation/difficulty falling asleep since. Has anyone else had this reaction to Buspar? If so, did it go away eventually?

I've been on Buspar for about 3 years now. I started at a low dose but now I'm up to the highest dose and thinking about talking to the Dr. for another option as I still have anxiety and agitation issues daily. My sleep is usually o.k., once I get to sleep (some nights are a bit rough, but once asleep, I'm out). I guess I'm not really sure how well Buspar works for me as i still have the issues.
