anyone take lexapro???

I started 2.5 of lexapro roday...have awful experience with zoloft...scared to deatj...don't want to take it tomorrow although I don't see any other way then the meds..I feel a pin prick sensation and afarid it is beginning of allergic reaction or something...scared to take tomorrow dose but promised doc I would stick with it she swears I will feel better on it. Anyone relate?

I felt a lot better when i took it.The only side effect i had was a decreased sex drive.I took 10mg a day.I did quit takin it because of the sex drive side effect.2.5mg shouldn't do anything but make you feel better.I am on celexa 10mg now.I was panicky about taking it at first but now i'm glad i did because i feel way better.

I would bet that the pin prick sensation is just your anxiety.I have all kinds of crazy sensations like that.

I take 10mg of Lexapro and it works great for me. I started on a dose of 10mg and for the first week I had some prickly and burning sensations. Doc told me it is normal and to stick with it, sooooo glad I did as this drug has given me my old self back. So stick with it.

When i was first on Zoloft it worked great for me and wore off, But when i was on Lexapro it didn't really do anything, it didn't make it any better or worse, i just stayed the same.
Antidepressants work differently for everyone, hopefully the lexapro will make things better for you.

I have been on it for a couple of years - I started on 2.5mg and just recently moved up to 10mg, it definitely has evened out the highs and lows but I'm noticing I'm not feeling anything since I've gone on to the 10mg.

Anyone else so evened out that they are flat?
