Question.
I was on Zoloft 50 mg for about 5 months (October to March) and weaned off slowly at behest of psycologist. I was down to 12.5 mg everyother day this month and BAM anxiety spirled into what it had been before. Debilitating fear. Not wanting to go anywhere. depresssion etc...
So I am restarting it again. I had been tapering off from March till now (1 month 25 mg, 1 month 12.5 mg, and then 2 months every other day)... will it take as long to kick in as it did in the beggining? I remember it was HELLL the first time I started. I felt off it made me more anxious at first, weird head not attached feeling, sick, etc...
Wondering if all comes back. I have had very heightened anxiety since starting to take again daily but not sure if pills of me. I find that I have had to take 12.5 mg xanax like once a day maybe 2.....
I didnt hav to do this for more then 2 weeks last time but how will that be to taper off of??

I was on Zoloft 100mg about 3 years ago and it stoped working. I went on prozac for almost 1 yr and it stoped working. I am now on the zoloft again started at 100mg, then 150mg and now 200mg. I also take buspar 20mg 3 times a day. (usually I only take the buspar once or twice a day) But It did take a few weeks to start feeling better.I have the panic disorder and ocd servere. It sucks. If you are off of it all the way then it may take a week or two. if you are still taking it every other day then you should feel better in a few days. Best of luck.

I just restarting Zoloft today. 50 mg. I have taken it on and off over the last 14 years. I have kept a journal to record how I have felt. And whenever I get off Zoloft, I never have any issues. When the anxiety and physical symptoms related start, I sometimes do go back onto Zoloft and the first 2 weeks I do feel abit off. My body starts to tingle and sometimes I perspire at night. But then it does subside.
