Just curious about something. I noticed that the vitamins have green tea extract in it which I've been told is a form of "natural" caffeine. I am sensitive to caffeine as I'm sure most people with anxiety disorder are. The program talks about limiting and eventually eliminating caffeine from your diet. Was wondering if anyone else with a sensitivity to caffeine is taking the vitamins and doing well on them?

yeah , im sensitive to caffine as well, but i take the vitamins and they're fine , the ingridient in the vitamin that is supposed to make youf feel better is the 5-HTP (hydroxy trypto phan) it bounces of the serotonin in your brain , sounds intense but it just takes the edge off of a bad day, really i hardly notice it but when i do its fine. =)

I take the vitamins and I love them. They have made a profound difference in my disposition as well as my stamina. I was scared to take them as well in the beginning but after trying and sticking with them I think they are wonderfull.

I am an avid tea drinker as well and I do know that the caffine found in teas can be extracted to make them caffine free so it is quite possible that this is the case in the green tea extract that is found in the vitamins.

Keep in mind these vitamins were formulated by Lucinda herself with the help of medical doctors and advisors as it states in the brochures, I would imagine since she found the company based on her own struggles with anxiety she would only put the ingredients that were going to aid you and I in our struggle to overcome anxiety....

My best advice to you is to go into it with an open mind. Give them a try and I think youll find them to be a good thing.

I take Abilify 10 mg, Lamictal 200 mg, Xanax 0.5 mg as needed, and Ambien 10-15 mg per night.

Is it really safe to add Good Days with all of this into the stew that is my body? ! ??

My doctor told me not to take them, but he didn't really look at the ingredients, so... does anybody have similar meds and take Good Days?

Wow cuttingirl I cant believe a doctor told you not to take vitamins.....thats strange to me.

Of course listen to your doctor and follow his instructions because I am not on these medications so I am not aware of the interactions within them. However I would investigate if I were you.....Check out with a pharmacist and see a couple other doctors....Dont tell each one what the other one said and if you get several that say the same thing then go with it but if you get several different answers I would be a bit more likely to reapproach my doctor and ask why he comes to that conclusion.

Im just offering an opinion not advice....
Hope it is helpfull.

Cuttingirl, having experience with the meds that you are taking I was adviced to not take anything with herbals in them because they could cause a reaction with those meds. For example I take Lexapro and started taking one a day actives with ginsing in them...I started feeling like I was high all the time and had this weird tingling sensation in my scalp. And when I stopped taking the supplement it went away..but I am on Gooddays right now and still on Lexapro and have not had a reaction. But the Lamictal and Abilify may be a different story..alot of those meds tell you to avoid herbals while taking them. Also in the past when I was on Abilify my psyc also told me no herbals and to stick to regular vitamins. Everyones body is different, so I would listen to your doc right now. TC Karen

I have been taking GNC DHEA vitapack supplement for men over 40 and it has greatly improved my energy. I hadn't taken any of the good day free samples and the next shipment arrived yesterday. If you don't want them be sure to cancel because they will NOT take returns.

Cutting - I am assuming, based on your meds, that you are bipolor or hypomanic. Given that, I believe your doc doesn't want to introduce anything that will have an effect on SRI - which may cause a manic episode. Always ask "why" when your doc says "no".

I am a strong believer in vitamins. As a well researched recommendation - add 2-3 MORE Omega-3's to your daily intake You can buy these at the grocery or pharmacy. Omega 3 does have a positive impact to your mood as well as providing a tremendous amount of protection to your heart.
