I have seen a lot of women post about anxiety leading up to and at that time of month. Recently I have had periods every other week and my OB/GYN is changing my pill. I woman that I work with mentioned that she tried a lot of pills and has had great experience with Yaz. And, I noticed a commercial for Yaz says it is supposed to help with irritability, moodiness, anxiety, and acne. Has anyone had experience with it? And, if so, have you noticed any difference in your anxiety symptoms since?
Hi
I have been taking Yaz since Oct. I stopped taking lo estrin in August , the month of Sept was the worse depression and anxiety. It took till about Dec for me to feel better. Combo of Pill and Program. The anxiety is still there with Yaz, depression is gone but i am always tired ,no sex drive and i still have mood swings. A good website is http://www.womens-health.com/
you can go on here and see what women have to say about the pill. Click on the sex-sexual health, then choose birth control.
I found it helpful , since some of the things i am feeling since taking this pill are not listed as side affects. But i found that soo many of the women on here complain about the same thing. I am considering a new pill. But I would suggest to defiantly give it a try, everyone is different. Allow yourself at least 3 months to see if it works. For me , i been on it for 4 months and nothing has changed as far as anxiety and moodiness.
Good Luck
