This will be the first time I've seen the doctor since starting this program. I need to tell him about this program. Has anyone had their doctor say anything negative about this program ? I was originally going to go in and ask for something "to take the edge off" . I'm on week three (for the second week). I'm having panic attacks still, but they are now MUCH milder since I've been able to lessen them by positive thought and breathing. I'm going to get the full blood tests done to make sure everything is o.k. Over the past 4 weeks, I've lost 10 pounds (thru a weight loss program - W.W.) and I'm feeling pretty good now (I still have my moments though....). I'm not sure what to say to my doctor about this. I don't know if I should ask for something just in case or if I can do this without meds. I DO know that I'm going to do all 15 weeks of this program and I'm not going to quit.

Hi! I originally bought this program for a friend. He did not want to use it, so I decided to listen to the first CD to see what it was about. I was, at that time, clinically depressed. A very dear friend is a doctor (although she is not my doctor - she is a friend). I told her about the program. She knew about it, and she encouraged me to give it a try. She was very skeptical because I was so deeply depressed. I overcame my depression with this program, without medical help, without Rx's. Let your doc decide about your need for meds. Glad you are here. Glad you are determined to stay with it for the duration.

I went to the doctor's today and told him about everthing including this program. He said that he hasn't heard of this program, but if it's working, then keep it going ! I asked him about medication, and he said (and I completely agreed with him) that he didn't want me to go on medication if the program was working. He said that if I could go thru this program with a clear head, then that was the best way to go.
He's sending me for complete blood work to make sure everything is ok. I was nervous going to the doctor's and if I was there 3 weeks ago, I would've had an attack in the waiting room and I would've had to leave. I just breathed my way thru it. All was good today !
