anxiety now

i always get anxiety at work it sucks. im on lexapro i dont see a huge change. tomo i go to the pyciatrist and hopefully they will give me a better med. my anxiety is weird i will have it for like a month then be fine then get it for like another month

how long have you been on the lex and at what dose?? do you notice it is about the same time each month (pms time, etc..)

talk to your doc, you may need to up the dosage or change meds.

I agree, mine is so cyclical its weird. I used to think that it was seasonal, sometimes even wondered about PMS, etc. but I actually went 2 yrs without it once. It so weird. SSRI's help me in the long term, but I've always had to take a benzo to help at first to calm me down because I'd get too far gone. You are doing the right thing going to a psych doc, that is my advice to anyone, they know their drugs, and are good at it, it is their specialty. Best of luck, you will find the right ones. Hang in there.
