Lopressor, Toprol XL, the GENERIC name of it is Metoprolol tart

is anyone on this med for high blood pressure ? they gave it to me to help with the rapid heart rate and the high BP I have been having if so please tell me if it helped for you and what mg. you are on how many times aday and what side effects you noticed on it .. ty

hi there. I just got put on Lopressor for my anxiety and panic attcks and I just had my first dose of it Thursday. I am being weaned off Celexa as well. So far I think it is helping, although i have not been on it long enough to really tell. I am taking 25mg once a day. the only side effects I have noticed is dizziness. I kind of have been feeling short of breath but i dont know if that it causing it or not. hope this helps

hi, i was on toprol xl 50mg for a few months. it helped alot with the palpitations. i didnt have any side effects at all from that medication. hope that helps you
