My doctor has me on celexa, topomax and of course I can't do with the xanax right now but I'am trying too cause I don't want to get addicted to it. Can't be too careful about some medications these days, I know! I hope your feeling better Todd J ... and God bless you Melissa51 and kat4rgod :)

I took a fourth of Zoloft to begin with and felt a warm sensation but hung in there to increase to 25- after one day of the 25- I ended up in the emergency room with extremely high blood pressure and burning through my chest and arms. They took me off it and since then for two weeks I had reocurring symptoms that lessened over time. Had another bad night still after 3 weeks- I only took it one week. My sister took it for 2 weeks and was fighting horrible panic and depression for 2 months after. Meeting with my doctors of course but they just say to be calm. Ugh! I am only a few weeks into the course but trying every thing I can to deal with this induced panic attacks.

i'm on day 17 of zoloft..i took 50mg for two weeks, and now i'm taking 100mg. to be honest, i was completely terrified to take it, but like my doctor said... if you were a diabetic and needed insulin, you would have to take your medicine, so i just know i need it. i haven't noticed it to help w/ my panic yet, but i am not crying everyday anymore, and i'm going to work. my doctor told me to wait at least a month before he changed it, so we shall see next friday if i'm going to stay on it. i'm also on clonazapam.. i have been for 10 years, which scares me, but the doctor said it was ok.
