Stacy D,
I am so sorry to hear about your withdrawal symptoms. I came off of effexor last spring, under dr supervision....very very slowly. Even though it was slow, I still had horrible side effects that put me on the floor. It is so important to be under supervision...there are always meds out there to help balance the withdrawal symptoms. We are all praying for you..you will come out on top.

As bad as I feel, I would probably just rather endure this bad few days (fingers crossed that its only a few days)I am trying to drink lots of water to help flush it out of my system. If I were feeling any worse I would probably go see my doctor. I was only on 75 mg for like 7 monthss so I figured I would have an easier time than others tapering off this. I went down to 37.5mg for two weeks and felt fine... it just sucks right now. Not to mention that itss that time of the monthh and I have superbad cramps and I feel like im getting sick. I have been coughing all day and no matter how many blankets i have im freezing. I feel like im withdrawing from a heroin addiction
