Depakote ?

must be a multipurpose drug - don't find it helps any to prevent headaches anyway- at least not at the dose I am taking - so its fairly useless for me!

Actually, it's an anticonvulsant, and like many anticonvulsants is also used as a mood stabilizer.

I've been taking Depakote for about 2 months, but I don't think it does much at all. I'm on 1000 , but my psychiatrist wants me to go up to 1500. I want to go to 0! I also take Klonopen and Seroquel. Anyone else have that combination? I'm still a wreck. Ermie

I'm on Lamictal, Klonopin & Lyrica. All anticonvulsants for me. Lamictal doubles as my mood stabilizer, Klonopin doubles for antianxiety, and the Lyrica helps me fall asleep.

First time in my life I've ever been on a good combination of meds - absolutely love all 3.
