effexor slow release 300 mg???

I am on Effexor XR 150. Personally, I love it. However, I sometimes do feel like it could be stronger. However, mine is combined with 1 mg Xananx ER. So, maybe yur doctor should try putting you on a "crazy ****tail" like that. Keep me posted about how you are making out on the 300 mg - very curious.

I am also on Effexor but I am taking the XR it is a huge difference from the standard dose which as I understand it rises and falls during the day. That has it hitting its high point as I recall in like four hours. Then falling off during the day. The change for me to the XR has made it very consistent. I don't recall sweating but I went to it from Paxil. Due to a recent quadriding incident I have been off work since May and won't be back to work until March or April if my let heals right. I to got Xannax added to my life as laying around with nothing to do but worry about my leg, job, finances just drove me into a huge hole. Since I find myself with 6 more months of nothing to do I was able to get a copy of this program and found that there is a whole new way to deal with myself. I am very greatful and am hoping that by the time I can go back to work I will not only have finished this program but will be able to decrease my meds if not get off them altogether. Time will tell but I have a goal.
I have been on doses up to and including 300mg. I am now on 37.5 mg. and changed from taking it in the am to taking it just before bed. I hope to be right off this drug in another month. I am now starting to question what my Dr. gives me I have found that all is not well with these type of drugs. Going slow off the drugs is key to getting free. My doctor put me on one drug that caused the collapse of my marriage and caused me to want to kill myself all the time and I mean all the time. The struggle to get away from a drug that actually changes the way your brain deals with stress was one of the hardest things I have ever done.
