Yes it helps with anxiety. It is the generic for Xanax. It can be addicting like any other drug. I believe that Xanax gets a really bad rep. Most people that take it do not abuse it.

Yes that's just the generic name for Xanax. I've been taking Xanax for almost 3 years. Yes, you can really become dependent on it. I believe it helps if you really need something to calm you down, you just want to be careful. After awhile you may more than likely gain a higher tolerance for it. Then you'll find yourself needing more at a higher dosage to calm u down.
What is worse, is if you're in a position where you get really anxious and say you don't have it, that can make things so much worse.
I'm not trying to be real negative about it, because for a long time it has been what calms me or keeps me calm.
You may want to see about Xanax XR. You can still get the generic, but I think that may help alot. Just ask your Dr.
The problem you don't want is to feel like you have to have a pill to get through day to day.
