Nothing is working!
I'm on that roller coaster with you. I have been on almost all the antideppresants and antianxiety meds out there. Try to be patient. One will eventually help-work with your doctor, and be sure to be honest withhim about any side effects, but at the same time, be sure to let the meds have a chance to work before rushing to change to something else.
izabeth,
different meds work for different folksbe patient and let them help you them through your rough times.it takes awhile for it to work and get in your system. thank God mine worked for me on the 1st ones that I was put on.I had been offmy meds for awhile and had to return to them because of things happening in the family and my wifes health and sons drugs and his girlfriends drinking.it can take a toll on anyone.take care and let this coming year be your time to shine.be blessed.

I take Celexa for my anxiety and have for almost 7 years. With the exception of a few break throughs, I have been virtually anxiety free the whole time. It did take about 5 weeks to really feel completely better. Hang in there...the key to these meds is patience.Originally posted by Draakprinses:

Bah...I know, and I suck at patience, heh. I've only been on Celexa for about three and a half weeks, so you're right, it probably will take a bit longer to really see a difference.Originally posted by missgsr:I take Celexa for my anxiety and have for almost 7 years. I hope it doesn't bother you if I jump into your conversation. I have depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. I was on medication very briefly but did not like how it made me feel. My mom has been teaching me the past few months about a natural alternative that has really helped me with the depression. If anyone is interested, let me know.
Hey, I'd be interested to know, I am to scared to take medication myself so would be interested in this natural alternative.Originally posted by jami6:

Hi I am new to this forum. I also have anxiety/panic and depression. I have tried 2 different anti anxiety meds and on my third depression med. I don't like the way it makes me feel but all the professionals seem to think I need help. I admit I do but not that type of help. Did I mention I am extremely sensitive to meds. I have heard of reflexology and also tried essential oils in the past. They worked really well in combination with nutrition. I did not so much change diet and include exercise. There were no side effects I still got the panic though. Because I didn't understand about panic, anxiety and depression, I assumed the natural stuff wasn't working and gave up on it. Big Mistake! Now I'm trying to get off the meds, get back to all natural and use this with the tape series, diet, exercise and nutrition.
Hi, im also new here. I am very sensitive to medications. I tried paxil, felt like i was intoxicated. Tried celxa, had the inner body shakes so bad i couldnt concentrate. Tried zoloft, had almost every side affect possible. I have been off my zoloft for 4 days. Withdrawl isnt a pretty picture but at least im out of my bedroom! I have spent the last 2 months confined to my bedroom due to trying meds. I'm refusing to take medication. I want to do this by using lucindas program. I wish you all the luck in the world with your challenges. Good luck and god bless ......... jodie
