I think all the ladies would agree with me that we need a womens issues forum. My hormones give me bad anxiety and depression. . . and ocd. . PLEASE lets make this a forum!! :D :D

HI Holly, You look very young in your picture. What kind of hormone issues are you having? Have you been tested? I agree a women's forum is necessary. The hormone issue is very complicated with many options, and much confusion. I would be happy to share what I know from my research and experience.

There are various prescription drugs to get over anxiety and depression, but one should only be used in accordance with the instruction of a physician. There is a lot of fake selling of such medicines on internet, so before you can order it online just make sure it is a real pharmacy. I am having it from http://www.xanax-effects.com

I agree, we need a women's forum. On a more specific hormonal note, I have the mood swing that go with horminal changes of the menstrual cycle. Using a monophasic birth control pill helps to keepe me more stable. Also, there is a pill called Seasonale which gives you four periods per year; this really helps too. Any birth control pill can be taken continuously in the same fashion. Consult with the ob/gyn about this.

I totally agree with a forum- my anxiety and depression did not return until I stopped breast feeding and I feel like it is totally hormones that have messed me up. I want to ask my doctor about checking my hormones but what do you really say? Check my hormones-they will think I am crazy and then probably say which ones since we do have many- I feel like my hormonal shift has srewed me up. I am only 30 and should not feel like this. I feel like what I did when I tried to take the birth control shot over 12 years ago and my hormones were so messed up they actually put me on premarin for a month and that made me feel like a new person.I just want to feel normal again-whatever that is!!!!

i agree. i believe hormones play a huge part in my anxiety. shortley after the panic attacks and just plain old anxiety about everything started, i was diagnosed with endometriosis. now they have me on lupron depot to put me into short term menopause to stop my periods and hopefully stop the endo. i notice that since i started the injections my anxiety has come way down so i know it had alot to do with my hormones.

I agree, too. I have been taking natural progesterone for anxiety related to premenopausal symptoms - I am 47. I am wondering if I can really work with the anxiety feelings and not have them escalate that I can stop taking the hormones. Even thought they are "natural" there are still health risks invovled. Plus it only helps some of the time.

I also agree that we need a womens forum.. It seem like most of us women have the same problems that come form hormones.. We could benefit from eachother and get through tough times with some help..
I have the same problem, and would love some suggestions..

I have PMDD. It is an extreme form of PMS and basically feel terrible for 2 weeks. Noelle, I think that my medicine is helping me but i still get pmdd )-: maybe its too soon? I have been on them for 5 weeks. I am also on Yaz and I kinda feel like the birth control makes me feel worse. . i don't know. Iv only been on that for 2 months so i don't just want to stop since its too soon. I started taking b-12 and magnesium because I heard that is good for pms. I get soooo tired before my period. I dont mean a day before i mean a week before or more. its terrible.
