I have been on zolft for over a month. I gradually increased the dose and i am now on 100 mg for about 2 weeks. I have been feeling better than i was, but still not good. I just had an awful weekend. I was out Saturday night and felt dizzy and nauseaus. I was also tense and nervous. I did not enjoy myself at all. My husband said i looked and seemed fine, but it drives me crazy when he says that because i am not fine, i just hide it and suffer inside. I was crying on the way home and woke up Sunday morning just feeling weird. I can't explain it. I don't know how much longer i should give the zoloft. I feel like by now, i should not be having so much anxiety and depression. I am going to see my doctor this week. If he says i need to increase the dose i am soooo SCARED to.

I've been on Zoloft for over a month now as well (25mg). I feel a little better, but I still have anxiety and depression just about everyday. I'm able to drive now, that was something that I had a hard time with before taking Zoloft. My doctor keeps wanting to increase my dose but, I'd rather just keep taking the 25mg. The more the dose is increased, the harder it will be for me to wean off of it.

25 mg is a very low dosage. 25 mg is usually what a doctor will start you with. I personally am on 50 mg and have been for about two years, but am looking forward to the day where I can slowly reduce it and finally be off it completely. This program will help me accomplish that goal.

I have been on Zoloft for approx 6 weeks. I started with(.25mg) then to (.50mg) and now (.75mg) I will feel good prior to taking my dose in the morning and 45 minutes to 1 hour later, I begin shaking inside my body until later afternoon or early evening. Has anyone else responded with the same side efects?

yes ,i have those same feeling in fact i couldnt go up to 75 mg made anixety worse!! the furthest i got is 50 mg Drs do want me to try again going up again slowly as they claim with anixety and panick attacks the ultimate level is 150 mg to 200mg!! but for right now they told me just do the 50mg even at 50 mg i get shakey and seems to cause a little anxiety .. I was on this for years and never got the side effects or at least i dont remember them . i went off now im back on (well didnt acutally go off all the way was only taking 25 mg every other day and then was placed on tegretol for trigiminal neuralgia and it depleted all the zoloft that was in my system . )Now im back with taking it faithfully (ZOLOFT)everyday and off the tegretol for neuralgia and on lyrica .It's a little rough getting used to this time but i have been on it now not quite 10 weeks ..

I'm a recovering alcoholic and I have been on Zoloft , Xanax, and celexa. I last took Zoloft about 1 1/2 years ago since then I have had every emotion under the sun but I still feel like I'm not LIVING. I'm gonna go back and get on Zoloft and also start this program over.
