LEXAPRO AND WELLBUTRIN

I have been taking Lexapro for about 8 or 9 years now. Dosage raning from 10mgs to 15. My therapist recently recommended talking to my dr to adding wellbutrin along with this. Was wondering if anyone has taken this combination and how it worked out for them? She says there are no side effects from wellbutrin and it will give me energy and eventually can replace the lexapro with wellbutrin and only be on it? Thanks for all your imput!

Well I don't take Lexapro but I do take Zoloft. My doc recommended Wellbutrin for energy and also to counter-act the sexual side effects of the Zoloft. I have been on it just short of two weeks now. I have had no problems with it at all. I think it's a little soon to feel the full effects of it, but I def. have not had any negative side effects. Good luck, I hope it works out for you!
