Ive been on Wellbutrin for about 6 months now. And at first you do feel anxious and jittery. Wellbutrin is like an "upper" for a while but as your body gets used to it the feelings will subside. I started and have stayed on the lowest dose 75mgs a day. My doctor tried switching me up to 150mgs a day but I was dizzy and stomach upset. (he did it to help me stop smoking) its good for that. If you still feel this way in about a week tell your doctor he may need to adjust the dose for your body type and gradually move you up. My doctor said its a great meadicine compared to some of the others out there. And ive been on about 6 different ones now. Hang in there.

I CAN NOT deal w/the effects of antidepressants!! I've tried a ton of them and they make me feel worse than when I started. I mainly stick to Xanax as needed. Which is about a .25. I only seem to have to have a one about twice a month. My panic attacks come in spurts. I have one about every three months or so. It's like it's my body's way of saying ok I've had enough. Then I have an attack. After it's over I feel fine and patiently wait for the next one.

I also just started wellbutrin.I just got my dose increased to 300 mg about a week ago and have felt jittery and anxious at some points and also tired at other times.I started out at 150mg and had a couple of good days but my doc thought I should increase it.I have felt so crappy for 4 to 5 months after feeling great for years. This is the first time I m trying any meds except for a 4 day stint on lexapro.I don know if its the meds or my mind doin this to me.But just looking to see if anyone else has these feelings?Thanx

300 mg might be too much. Talk to your doctor and explain your symptoms to him. My doctor tried the same thing. I took one 75mg in the morning and one 75 mg in the afternoon (to help me stop smoking) but I got dizzy, ightheaded and told him and he told me to go back to onne dose a day and feeling lots better.
