Day 3 on Zoloft and the sweats...

Both dilated pupils and sweating can be side effects of AD's. They should subside with time. I would put a call in to your doc and just let them know you are having these side effects and he can decide whether or not to keep you on them. But I do know of people having the same symptoms you mentioned and being fine within a few weeks.
I have been taking Zoloft 50mgs for about a year now. I had dilated pupils for the first few weeks that I was on it. It freaked me out really bad too but it didn't hurt me I just looked funny! It takes a while for the zoloft to get in your system so you will probably have some weird side effects. It reacts to everyone differently. I am so happy that I stuck it out. It has helped me so much. If you have any questions please ask. Good luck!

I was prescribed Zoloft 50mg about 6 months ago. I got the pills finally but I am afraid to take it because I did read the label about side effects. Can anyone put my mind at ease? I really want to take them for my OCD and anxiety, but I hear so much bad about all of these meds it makes me afraid even more. I did hear that sweating and dilated pupils were fairly common side effects.

I never had any problems with zoloft and no side effects that I can recall. No sweating or problems with my pupils. I never read the side effects for zoloft because I knew that the minute I did I would suddenly be experiencing every symptom they listed. Zoloft gave me my life back and I resisted taking anything for several years before I finally went on it and then thought "Why did I wait so long?"
