Well I finally decided to go to the doctor today and get some meds for my anxiety because it is getting worse. Well he gave me Buspar 10 mg 3 times a day and Atarax 10 mg 3 times a day. I was just wondering if anyone ever took these together and are they bad side affects. I wont help so bad I cant live like this no longer but i'm afaird of the meds. I'm on week 2 of the program it seems to help some but not much. I want to take the meds but i was wanting to see if anyone has had any issue with these two together.

I took Buspar when I first started having attacks and had horrible side effects. Vivid and scary nightmares, and bad dizziness. I took it for about 2 months and then couldn't deal with the side-effects. When I went off of it my head hurt so bad that I couldn't move for 3 days. I don't know about taking it with another drug. My doctor switched me to Celexa and I have been on it for many years now. I don't have many issues with it at all. Don't give up, sometimes it takes a couple weeks to get used to these medications, Keep in close contact with your doctor and keep taking steps to getting better!

I haven't even heard of those meds before, im sorry. But I found that if ya go to about.com and search it and side effects for it, it will tell ya.

I was on celexa first then effexor, and it was alright for a while. Then it got worse, then it got better. Then it got worse, then I got sick of the roller coaster and quit taking them. I've been off of them now for a year and It's the best feeling I've had in a long time. Better than when I was on the meds.

The program doesn't work like a miracle in a box. It teaches ya how to deal with the stress and anxiety, and it's just like learning to ride a bike. Ya can't just get on the bike the 1st or 2nd time and have it totally mastered.

But once ya get it down, ya never forget it. So it is well worth it, just give it time. Also, even after ya get done with the program life isn't going to be all perfect like the commercials either.

I have had a few anxiety attacks and a lot of stress. But now I know how to handle it better so it doesn't run my life the way it did.
