I am on lex for about 3 months now. One month at 10mg, one month at 15mg and now a month at 20. Every time after I start to feel a little better, the anxiety comes back after a few weeks of the increase. Is this normal- or do I need to keep increasing it? I dont want to go much higher. I know you get more side effects after increasing, but then when those go away and I start to feel better, it comes back again.

I am just wondering, is this what they call leveling out. How many days does it last each time, or is it just not the right med for me? I dread trying something else after so much time. It has helped a little, though, so I am confused. Just looking for others experiences. Thanks so much, Maria

I personally feel that doctors just perscribe anti-depressants to make more money and really don't give a rump roast about how it effects ya.

I was on celexa and effexor, celexa I felt weird at first then it got better but I couldn't afford them anymore so I quit taking them. Then I got put on effexor and that was just a horrible experience so I quit taking those, and now I've been off of anti-depressants for a year and I feel a hell of alot better than I ever did when I was on the meds.

The program really helps too, I'll admit I still am down and sad & ticked off & stressed out alot but I've learned how to handle it better so it's not as crazy as before.
