I recently started getting dizzy, the ent says i have a typre of vertigo that should go away..
it doesnt seem to be doing that...my anxiety came with the vertigo symptoms...anyone else have this?.
Does anyone have or did anyone have vertigo ever?
I've had anxiety issues for a very long time, back into childhood, but my actual anxiety/panic attacks didn't start until I woke up one morning with vertigo...the kind where you feel like you are on a rocking boat, not the spinning room type. This happened three days after a bout with food poisoning. I'd like to think there was a connection, but one has never been made.
Anyway, yes, I have suffered from vertigo now for about 16 years. I have been through extensive testing with no cause ever being found. I figure at this point it is mental. Might as well.
There are different types and causes, though, so what I have isn't necessarily related to what you are experiencing.
It is nice to hear your doctor has said yours will go away. I would LOVE for mine to go away. Instead, I've just had to learn to live with it.

I had extreme dizziness off an on for many years and I think it was due to stress. I was unable to open my eyes because I was so dizzy. Someone told me about a homeopathic remedy that I purchased at a health food store called Tabacum (not sure of spelling) and it worked right away! It was fantastic because there were no side effects like the regular medicine given which makes me sleep and groggy and it's inexpensive. I took 3-5 pellets under the tongue as directed. I carried it in my purse for many years just in case. But I haven't had one in over a year. Gail
