This book talks about accepting the good and bad sides of yourself and how by doing that you can make yourself 'whole' again. Ford talks about how we bury aspects of ourselves that we think are bad, or unacceptable, until we hardly know who we are anymore. every good aspect has a darker opposite, and when you bury the bad it is hard to really experience the good. She also talks about how we subconciously project what we have hidden from ourselves onto other people's personalities, and that is why we judge people so strongly. It talks about how the 'bad' parts of our personalities are really gifts to us, we just have to look at them another way. Anyways i'm kind of reambling and i haven't explained it well, but it is an interesting book, about how to "live authenticly"

Great Book by Debbie. So is her Shadow Processing class in LaJolla. If you can go I highly recommend it. She teaches you how to accept those "unacceptable" parts of yourself. It's worth the trip there. You can learn more about this at www.fordsisters.com
