Karen,
You cannot buy it in a book store. You can order it from Sam Obitz's website, www.tao3.com. I think it cost me about $16.00 in all. It is a small book, has large print and reads fast. Good luck to you!!

Glad you didn't mind and thanks for answering for me while I have been absent here. I hope everyone is doing well?Originally posted by egriff:
Quite the contrary, I'm glad you jumped in and replied! Especially since I have not yet heard back from samcat. This makes more sense to me and I appreciate the advice. Doing both at the same times seems like it might be counter productive.
Of course not! I appreciate all your great advice and am glad I can add something of use on occasionOriginally posted by WW:Glad you didn't mind and thanks for answering for me while I have been absent here. I hope everyone is doing well?Originally posted by egriff:

I'm doing great how are you doing?
No don't try doing both nat the same time. By now you probably do not need help in catching the problem thoughts so try the other counter exercise and I bet you will experience a lift in your mood. Lret me know how it works for you?Originally posted by egriff:
JR5,
I have been using the counter for a few weeks now to try and help with catching my negative thoughts to counter and it is making me more aware of ones I was not aware of and has helped me come up with more new thoughts to counter in the TEA form, so thx for that advice. I have not tried the other counter exercise yet because i only have one counter on my watch. Do you do both at the same time or switch back and forth? Seems like it would be too confusing to do both at once?
Samcat you are new since my last post on here and I just wanted to say hi and let you know your posts are really cool and positive. Thx.Originally posted by samcat:

Thanks man. I will give that a try and let you know how it works for me. Appreciate it. How long do you have to do it before you start seeing results?Originally posted by JR5:No don't try doing both nat the same time. Thanks Lilchrissy and JR5.Originally posted by lilchrissy:
I agree with this advice. Too hard to do two pretty much opposite things at the same time. Let us know how counting the things you are doing works for you. I think it will give your moods a boost![]()
I was really surprised how well the counter method works at lifting my moods. It seems so ridiculous that something so silly works. I was almost embarrassed clicking positive stuff I did off the first day but lo and behold I felt better as the day wore on. Thabnks for pushing me as this is another weapon for my arsenal against my anxiety and stress
