Hey, It's great to see so many people responding to this post and wanting to do something positive when it comes to our bodies!

I need you around me everyday to instruct me and to take junk food out of my hands and mouth! LOL. But since i'm all the way here in chicago, i'll just have to keep your wonderful posts in mind and take some tips from that.

hi girls,i worked 7hrs today. physical work. i am gonna work out again on my days off. and yes wieght lifting helps speed metablosim :). ok i had oatmeal and apples with brown sugar for breakfast. peanut butter in whole wheat for lunch. and vegatable soup for dinner. will have some fruit before i go to bed. i got the book too. will start reading tonight in bed. my new pills make me so hungry :eek: doc said if i gain weight or diabetes gets worse he will have to take me off them. they are helping me lots. once i get used to eating right i can do it. and this will make it much eaiser for me. thanks deedee :) this is fun........malikye

It stopped snowing and is raining so my back has been resting. I tried the ice and it works. So my back is feeling better. Thank you for the reminder.
I picked up a book at Costco in January but just started reading it yesterday. It is called The Secret by ? Byrnes. The secret is thinking positive. The writer says you can tell when you are thinking negatively by how you feel. Negative thoughts make you feel bad. We are supposed to be recording our negative thoughts and I was having trouble but I can tell when I feel bad.
I hope the eating better goes well for all of us this week.

i am thinking about peanut butter fudge. trying to keep from making it. bob green says eat as usual for 1 mo. but change other things. i have much sewing to do,so i'm working on that. cleaning out closets..................malikye

Hey Deedee, I know what you mean about needing to diet girl. I know what I should do ..it's just I need that extra push to get on the bandwagon again..I try to watch my diet too
