Hi my name is Maria,

I am just starting the program and am excited about it. I had to leave my job back in spring and have been off ever since due to panic episodes and severe depression. It has been quite a rough ride but I've been going to CBT for the past 4 weeks (50 min. sessions each). This is an okay way to go but I feel that Lucinda's program is the best I have come across.

If there are any women out there in their fifties ....I would like to talk with you.

Welcome Maria. You have made the right choice with this program. I am entering my 6th week and I feel like a completely different person. Since I have learned to float with the anxiety and panic and not be afraid of them, they have lost power. This program is wonderful and you will enjoy going through it. Good Luck to you and be proud of yourself you for taking care of yourself by doing this program.

Hi, I am in my 50's and have wondered if some of this anxiety isn't related to menopause. I have hot flashes which increases my anxiety along with heart palpitations. I started the program 3 weeks ago and it has made a difference already in the way I feel. Hang in there you will do fine, too/

Hi Maria and welcome. You will find this to be an excellent program and excellent people here too! :D I'm 58 and feel free to PM me about anything, anytime. I've completed the program twice. I still struggle at times but it's much better than it was.
