Well after going thru the program I can say that I am shocked to find how much of a negative thinker I can be. My whole life I have prided myself on helping others to see the glass half full rather than half empty. Now I can see that my biggest problem was not putting myself down, degrading my abilities, or feeling worthless. I would simply focus on the worst possible outcomes to any challenge that I had to face.

Now for the message I want to send. The first time thru I did not put much effort into session three because I did not feel it applied to me. I have sense went refocused my efforts to this skill and found it to be the most beeficial. Positive thinking has worked when nothing else would.

And remember: "My Grace is Sufficient" I have found this to be true.

Actually, Session 3 is the key to the whole thing!
How you talk to yourself is how your brain will react.
It sounds too simple but this old saying really sums it up:

"Watch your mouth, your brain is listening"

I highly suggest reading the book "What to say when you talk to yourself" for anyone that needs a detailed understanding of what this is all about.
God Bless and Peace be with you.
Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.

Very Cool, Webb and Don. I'm still waiting for my CDs to arrive, but it's helpful to read about your ah-ha's. I have described my own situation having changed with ZoLoft, from negative chatter, to a toggle switch thrown to "no" or "go away" and I veer away from whatever I was considering doing. Skipping to the "worst possible outcome" might be another variation of what I'm doing. Keep ah-ha-ing and keep sharing.
