Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone has this symptom of a "burning" stomach. I realize it is my anxiety .I always get it when I am anxious. It feels actually hot to the touch. It is not painful..just feels like many butterflies and just an off stomach feeling. It feels like I have ran a marathon after and get very tired. Probably my adrenaline pumping?

Thanks :)

Hello Harlow,

I would get these and many other symptoms. For me it was my adrenaline hormone (among other things) out of balance. I am getting help from an herbalist. Everything is under control now.

In addition to Lucinda's program, you might consider finding a herbalist that could help you. I find that there is a very physical side as well as the emotional/thinking side to my anxiety. Lucinda's program is a God send for me in addressing the emotional/thinking side of this issue. The herbs, for me, are a God send for the physical side of this issue.

Good Luck,

Eileen :)

Thanks for your reply

May I ask what herbs you are taking?

The herbs that I take are my nutritionist's products that he developed. Each supplement is a mixture of various herbs for different symptoms and health issues. You are welcome to visit his web site, www.doctorsresearch.com. Click on "products" and then you can click on any of his product names and the mixtures are listed there.

A couple of his products that I take are "Anxie-Tone" and "Magnesium Complex". He has many though, including some that treat intestinal issues, pain, etc. I take certain enzymes and herbs to eliminate infections in my intestine and inflammation. These really made a difference with my stomach discomforts, etc. There are many infections that antibiotics will not treat and in some cases will cause. Candidae yeast is a typical infection that causes many intestinal discomforts and there are products at the health food store that can help for this.

You may want to find someone in your area so that they can manage your situation. Dealing with hormones and infections is a serious thing and should be handled by a professional. Especially if you are taking meds. My herbalist is a Ph.D. in nutrition and has many years experience in his work.

Sometimes there are good products that you can find at a good health food store and sometimes they have knowledgeable people there that can recommend things. I was able to do this for a while, but my real help came when I saw my nutritionist as his work is very specific to my needs.

Check the web. There are a lot of resources there too.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes for you.

Take care - Eileen :)

Good advice EileenV I think that it does help the program plus what you are taking for health.
I also take Magnesium with Calcium and i know that helps me.
I take the enzymes and I just started taking BeetRoot it is suppose to help with the stomach issues. I have acid reflux.
I think I carry my stress in my stomach. Well good luck.

Hi there, I have the same problem, especially when my stomach is empty. I was admitted to the hospital for an extreme bout of stomach burning and heart racing. They kept me over night, and determined I wasn't having a heart attack, so I was discharged. I had an Upper GI and they found I have reflux and a hernia. My doctor said that people who are more anxious and nervous tend to have GI problems. This could be an ulcer, so you need to go see a doctor. Don't try to treat this yourself!
