I would have to say exercise for me is vital. Besides the obvious health benifits of weight control, and cardiovascular fitness, exercise will increase your natural endorphins, and serotonin production. I work out pretty intensely, but a moderate program will even reap large rewards for you! Depending on your level of fitness, just start out slowly, and even try to find something you enjoy like walking, playing some basketball, tennis etc...Try and find something that will get your heart rate up, and keep it at at least a 65-70 percent of your max heart rate for 30 mins. Exercise with variety, do different things, and you will find once you start and go about 3-4 weeks you will really miss it when you dont work out. I have heard a lot of really good things lately about yoga, which I am going to start looking in to, as I have been mostly a weight trainer, runner, and swimmer...I hear yoga offers some very unique benefits like flexibility, toning and lengthening your muscle for a leaner trim look, and most importantly the mental workout making you feel more relaxed, calm, and in control which we all love. Remember start out slow, and work your way in to a routine...if you have questions talk to your dr. if you have any health restrictions or anything. I think you will find it helps tremendously with anxiety...we have to exercise or bodies, along with our minds and differnt way (correct way) of managing our lives. Don't know if that helps....good luck to you
How about start out walking? Borrow a dog if you have to.
Then you could progress to jogging 4 minutes and then walk 1 minute and repeat.
It doesn't matter what you do, just do it!! Even if you don't "feel" like it. You will be glad that you did. Gradually, you will miss it if you don't.
I agree that yoga is fabulous. Even if you do other stuff. It is just different and you do feel clean and relaxed inside when you are done.

M/W/F I go to the gym at my college and work out for anywhere from twenty minutes to forty minutes. I do the treadmill and stationary bike.
If you only have fifteen minutes I would recommend walking around the block once or twice. Every little bit helps.
