stay at home??

I just a had a baby and I'm due back at work in a week or so

I am sooo sad to leave my little girl. I cannot afford to stay home though. I am grateful for my job but so incredibly sad to leave her. I've totally put off getting daycare set up, thankfully my mom will watch her temporarily but I am so devestated....

any suggestions on how I can afford to be with her full=time??

I am in the same position. I had my second child 23 months ago. I took a year off last year on maternity leave and have been back to work this school year. It has been horrible. I am so overwhelmed. My husband travels 75% of the time too. Two and a half months ago my anxiety just became crippling. It had been coming on all year and then I started getting panic attacks that I couldn't get under control. I even wound up in the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack. I would love to stay home. I feel guilty for not being there. I am trying to manage this constant anxiety with meds and with the program, which I am waiting to receive. I just want this to be over. I am looking for a way to stay home too.

oh well...i guess its not an option for me. it saddens me to leave her but if i dont the stress of bein unemployed will be too much...

At least you have a job to go back too. I believe my deprssion is not working and the economy sucks these days
