My head feels weird all of the time. It's like I can actually feel a sensation in the back of my brain and my head feels really heavy. Is this normal? Also...I feel like I'm constantly in motion. Like my body is rocking like you would if you were on a boat in choppy water. Has anyone experienced that? Also, I get shortness of breath on a regular basis. I feel like I can't get a deep breath in.
Is this normal?
I just went off of YAZ birth control 4 days ago and I seem to be getting worse. Help.
Weird body "symptoms." Has anyone had these before?
Hello,
First, nice username. Did you eat a bitter bug once? lol. In answer to your question, yes...what you're experiencing is just one of the many, many sensations of anxiety. I've had that with the addition of diarreha(sp), chest pains, back pains, tingling sensations, blurry vision, tunnel vision, bloated stomach, etc. I could go on, but I won't.
I wish you the best in your journey to a calmer, more peaceful, and rewarding life.

Yaz was a DISASTER for me - being on it and going off it. Those hormones are POWERFUL! Hang in there. Ortho Cyclen was ok. If you're going to keep taking oral contraceptive (I totally went off) Talk to your ob/gyn about moods, anxiety and they should be able to recommend something else. Yaz is AWFUL!!
I've had ALL the symptoms you mention, both on or off oral contraceptives. Maybe this will help. I remember reading/ hearing that anxiety is like excitement so I applied this to my strange physical symptoms in this way, at one particular time. I was at a party in a large gathering and started feeling those bizarre movement sensations. I told my brain to see them as "fun" (sort of akin to having had too many drinks) and eventually they passed and I did not freak out further or leave the party which is what I normally would have done. I'm not sure if this helps you. I still get those sensations from time to time. They just come and go, but they always go, thank goodness.
I also read about being "hypersensitive" meaning that our senses are so finely tuned that at times we can go into sensory overload which results in strange movement/ visual/ auditory sensations and feelings. Do you ever get totally overwhelmed in a large crowd? A busy noisy place? Or if there are too many options of _fill in the blank here? For me I could draw a line between these things and symptoms you are describing.

YES. I get sensory overload on a regular basis. It happens alot if I am out shopping or something like that. I just wish I could stop thinking that there's something more wrong wtih me. The symptoms of anxeity totally describe what's going on with me, but I still get scared and convinced that something else is going on. I have been having a few good days lately, but they are always set back by another bad day. I just want to feel good again so badly, and I don't want to take medication in order to do so. Have any of you gotten better without ANY medication?
I am off the YAZ and am planning on staying off of the BC for a long time so my darn hormones will balance out.
