having depressed bad day, help?

Ace, I'm so sorry to hear that you're having such a difficult day. Have you started/are you going to start the program? It really is tremendously helpful.
It's EXTREMELY frustrating when you're feeling upset and mad at yourself and don't know why. I feel that way often, and it turns into an awful cycle: you start feeling bad, then get mad at yourself for not knowing where that feeling is coming from, then feeling worse, etc., etc. You are reaching out for support, though, and that's wonderful! It shows that you are trying to take care of yourself and that you are seeking encouragement rather than just letting the negative thoughts overtake you. Good for you!! Even if it's a small step, it's a very important one, and you should feel good about taking it.
I hope that you have a better day tomorrow! Fixme is right: no one here is going to judge you. We're all here to support each other. I wish you the best--you deserve nothing less!!

I'm so glad you're using more positive self talk! Negative self-talk is also one of my struggles and something that I've been working on very hard as well...reprogramming my self-talk!!
It is a struggle and it'll take time but we can do it! Many people on this forum have already attested to that fact - look at all their inspirational stories!! Keep working on it Ace because you are definitely worth it!!

My negative thoughts are minute by minute. I really have to listen to them, stop and reframe. I think one of the hardest things for me to do is figure out what precipitated the negative thought. Sometimes I just do not know why they pop into my head. Likely years of doing it. I just want to know myself, not be irritable most of the time, and be in the moment. I know it will take time.
I am sticking to the program. It's not as easy. I just want it to work immediately. I have always been impatient. I know it will take time. I am off work for the next 2 months for medical reasons. It is a blessing in disguise that I have this free time to work the program. Thanks for responding to my post. I am not too computer savvy so I am trying to figure out. lol
