What do people know about this? Feels like I am not real. I look at my hands and not sure if they are mine. Sounds strange, huh. I hate looking in mirrors also. I'm guessing this can't be good. Tried the program and just couldn't "catch on" I guess I could say. I keep getting a call from UTAH number (435-867-8783. oNCE IN A WHILE THEY LEAVE A MESSSAGE AND SAY THEY ARE AFFILIATED WITH THE PROGRAM. dOES ANYONE kNOW WHAT i AM TALKING ABOUT?

Lamictal,

I understand completely! (I have been there myself). Depersonalization is a symptom - most of the time a very uncomfortable one and scary too.

I have written a bit about it on my website and even did a mini e-book that you can read on this particular symptom.
http://sound-mind.org/coping-with-scary-symptoms.html

In the e-book I share some really helpful things including a great forum for people who find this symptom particularly bothersome.

Hang in there and be encouraged..... I used to have those same feelings too once and have recovered! ;)

I totally understand! I myself am still dealing with depersonalization sometimes. If you're anything like me I was thrilled to find out it had a name and I wasn't crazy or having a brain tumor lol. I purchased an ebook called the " depersonalization guide" or something like that. If you Google it Im sure the right one will come up, it was written by a Shaun O'connor . Anyway I found it VERY helpful, you may also. :)
