What age group are you in? Interesting to know what ages seem to have more anxiety.

Are you in your teens, 20's, 30's, 40's, a baby boomer, or a oldster? It would be interesting to know who might be the oldest (never too old to change) or the youngest (anxiety knows no age).

Your gender? It seems as if there are more woman than men on this forum.

I'm female. Started when I was 29. My age group? You go first.

Victoria-

I'll be glad to go first because I was wondering the same thing. I'm a 36 year old, stay-at-home mom of a 2 year old and I live in South Georgia. I realize now that I have had many unexplained illness that were panic attacks but the worst one was 6 months before my wedding in 1998. Small attacks plague me several time a week now as a result. I'm saving my money to buy the program and get so much relief from this forum. Thanks to all who are brave enough to share things so intense.

I'm a 23-year-old female, recently married to my partner of four years, and currently taking the year off between college and grad school (and I'm glad it's almost done--being at home so much with so little to do has definitely made my panic and agoraphobia worse, but the program is helping).

Hi,
I'm a 32 year old single women who lives in Chicago. My anxiety started around the age of 19. Went away for about 7 years but came back at a small level in the last 2 years.

Hi there, I'm a 37 year old stay-at-home mother of 3 and I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. I've had anxiety since I was a young teenager, but I had a terrible panic attack in January of this year. I bought the program in February and am on lesson 3.

FYI:

I've read over the years in several places that the average age of the onset of panic attacks is 23.

I was 22 or 23; I'm 43 now.

I think the garbage can of sh** and stress that (we don't [or didn't] know how to deal with) finally fills up and we can't take it anymore. Then whammo----we have our first attack and here we are------getting better .

Hi Vtoo!

I'm in Marietta just outside Roswell and Atlanta. Moved here last June from Jacksonville, Florida.

I'm a homemaker and mother or two.

I am 29, work full time, been married for 9 years and have two beautiful daughters. I have been struggling with this since I was about 9 years old. I had major problems with it at age 16-18 and now again at age 29.

Victoria,
I am 36 and I started having panic attacks about 10 yrs. ago. I think I can agree with what EastCobbGABestyH has to say about your life gets filled with alot of garbage. I think this is how I ended up dealing with it or you might say not dealing with it by having panic attacks.
I also live in South Georgia.
