Hi I am ronnie44 this is my first time logging in. I started the program on Monday of this week.
I have been working the program, and I am feeling a little more relaxed after listening to the relaxation CD.

Welcome Ronnie. You'll find a lot of support and guidance here from quite a few of us on this board. Just remember to keep working on the program. It works! Peace and tranquility is a possibility. We're all in this together

HI Ronnie !!

I was in the same boat as you back in Feb 2007.. I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety. After listening to just the first session in the course made me feel so much better.
I know you must feel you are in a thick cloud right now not knowing what direction you are going and more importantly when you get out but you definately will and be stronger in the future.

Depression - you have to catch those negative thoughts and reverse them into positives. It's just a bad thinking pattern you have trained your brain into doing
Do the exact opposite thing your brain is telling you .. i.e. I don't really want to get up early and go for a walk. (force yourself to do it)
Anxiety - I had panic attacks.. Once I got over the fear of being affraid I was able to be in control. An part of the secret is not to be in control and 'ride the wave'.. I am sure it doesn't make too much sense to you now but it will. I am sure in the near future something will 'pop' in your thoughts and it will all be clear..
