Hello, I got the program about 6 weeks ago, and got to session 4, without noticing any real change or relief. I've gotten so frustrated and sidetracked, I stopped the program about 3 weeks ago, and haven't been able to start again. Should I just start it all over or just review till I get caught back up to where I was? My biggest problem is the depersonalization/derealization, I don't know how this program will ever make this go away. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Eric. Personally, I would restart the program as you haven't got that far into it yet. It takes a longer time to work for some more than others. Remember also to do the workbook, read and reread it. There is no time limit, take it nice and easy. If you need longer on one lesson, by all means take longer. Pace yourself. The program does work, but the time it takes varies with each person. Oh, and use the relaxation cd every day, even twice a day if you can. Good luck! Bob.

Don't give up on the program just yet. It takes time to develop new habits, and changing one's thinking isn't an easy thing to do.

Without the program, in 15 weeks from now it is likely that you will still be suffering with anxiety/depression. In that same time, you will most likely change your life with the program. Either way, 15 weeks will pass.

We can do this. It is worth it. Good luck!

Hi dark cloud,

Just because you go through the program too doesn't mean your anxiety is going to be all gone. I went through it and I still have issues here and there. But I improved. They even said in it that it takes 15 weeks to go through all of the material, it doesn't mean that you're going to come out this entirely new person who feels no anxiety anymore. I finished the program a couple weeks ago and I'm going to do it again. Just keep going with it. You don't have anything to lose!

Hi Darkcloud look at the stars and the moon in the darkness. There is beauty in all things. I am in agreement with the other posts, I just wanted to say that this program doesn't take away our depression, it helps us to cope and handle situations better than we normally do. For example I am in week eight so when any issues come up in my life I turn to the program before I become too overwhelmed. I have fallen into depression a couple of times but instead of letting it comsume me, I acknowledged I am depressed; I then took my weekend to regroup by relaxing watching movies, reading a book, just doing me, and by Mon morning I was ready for the world. I am learing to control my temper, to be assertive without anger, to exercise and all sorts of wonderful things in just eight weeks. You just have to believe you are worthy of happiness free from fear of stress and anxiety. So don't give up. Start over and follow the program step by step.
