Feeling Like This Will Never End

I've had anxiety/panic disorder for the past 14 years, which seems to be getting worse. I am now in a bout that has been going on for two weeks now. I wake up in instant panic and the anxiety lasts all day long. My body doesn't stop shaking, can't stop my thoughts, and normal things seem to bother me and make me extremely anxious. I have never had an "episode" last this long before and I'm starting to wonder if this will ever end. Every day I tell myself that it will get better but it doesn't. Any words of advice or suggestions? I'm having a really tough time and would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

Sorry for your suffering. There is the program here which can help with time and attention. For some people, however, a meeting with a therapist may be advisable and maybe even some low dose medication at least at the start. Sometimes deep breathing can be calming or I sit and meditate every day twice a day. This can calm the mind and the body.

I Agree with Tina, If your condition is so severe you probably need some medication to help you cope with your anxiety and attacks, and definatly the steps from this program will put the icing on the cake .
I take Xanax it has really helped me durring the real hard episodes and its safe ask your Doctor first.
i have been able to gradually reduce the intake of it since i startet this program to not even .5 of a mil ,Oh and by the way i am not a veteran at it,, i have just been in it for about 1 month,the program that is but i can tell you this is a life changing program .
Hang in there you will start seeing the difference soon .
