Hello All
I know that a dry throat can be caused by anxiety, but I was just curious if anyone else felt the same symptoms as I do. In early February, I started a cough, either from a cold or allergies. I went to two doctos who quickly checked me out and said the lungs were clear and gave me anitbiotics. Over the last several weeks, I have gone through different stages with this cough and throat. It's wet, it's dry, it's phlemy, my throat clicks sometimes when I swallow, but most of all, dry. It doesn't hurt at all but feels weird when I swallow. No other symptoms. I'm back to work and exercising, etc... but to have this annoying throat and occasional cough for two months is bothering me. I also know other people who have been coughing as long as me, I just dont know if they are experiencing the same symptoms however.
I have been under a lot of stress lately and I do have TMJ which has been bothering me for a week now. I think I aggrevated the TMJ by always yawning because I have the breathing issues when I have anxiety. Sometimes I may take an ibuprofen to help the TMJ pain and then the throat feels a little better also.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has had these throat issues.
Thanks
Terry

Re: Dry Throat
Hi,
I am going to the same thing big time. Really bad dry throat along with problems swallowing. I have been hyper focused on it which makes it worse but it's tough to take my mind of of it. I think it's 100% anxiety OCD related but that doesn't make me feel any better. I have to really try try and realize it's anxiety and sooner or later the fear should subside and I won't die and things will get better like they alway have before
